Having recently finished reading Rob Maylins 3 books (Tiger Bay, Fox Pool and Basils Bush) a lot of the bait they were using contained condensed milk. According to the book he baited heavily at times with some great catches, so, the question is,

is condensed milk still used today?

If I was to put it in my home mades how much should I use?

it's too tasty i'd just eat it

Probably just the sugar in it that attracts carp...that and possibly the break down of milk proteins

have used it to spod over zigs in a mixture of 1 part condensed milk to 6 parts lake water. Cant see why it would do a boiled bait any harm, not too sure of how much too add per 6 eggs though mac.
