Tis fair to say its very quite, not quite sure of the reasons, but not having the mag around has not helped. Maybe xmas and winter blues has added to it.
Lets hope it picks up soon

It isn't like it used to be, that's a fact. As I remember it, this forum used to have a thriving community of members. I remember how sad it was when Steve Howard's old dog (Bridgette, wasn't it?), died and how everyone felt sorry for him, and how Schwen caught a dirty hangover and needed a quick fix. Maple was here, and Big Ron the catfisherman as well as Mo the pva man. Jaffa. and Paul, (who insisted on everyone using their real names in the second incarnation of the forum to give it more class!), and quite a few others, including a sweet little girl, (Nikki, I think), who worked at the pub... her dad was a bailiff and she lived just down the road from Big Omar the porn star. I remember how proud she was of her new tattoo! IanD would always stand up for Arsenal, and get hooted down for his trouble. Those were the days indeed. I was already addicted to the sport carp fishing, but this was a portal into the deeper romance of it. _________________ No Liberals west of Winnipeg

hi buzzbomb
your talking of the first carp addict forum , and what a forum that was shame it was allowed to die , as i'm sure it would have been one of the biggest forums and the best , but in between the old one and this forum , many others sprung up ,
this forum never had the same feel about it (no ones foult ) and unless you have a constant supply of new meat to regurgitate old subjects , most forums will suffer imo , after all, as big as carp fising is , there are only so many subjects you can talk about before you come full circle .
anyway hope your well m8 . _________________ Echoes and silence
