went to the canal for a couple of hours, armed with a little rucksack, net and waggler rod, and some nice fresh worms, propper fishing

well after setting up i recieved no bites, so decided to move next to a bridge,

a twitch on the float,

i strike and after a short fish in the net is a massive new PB, i was exstatic





















shame it was only a ruffe,


been ages since i had one lol

i didnt weigh it, didnt have a weigh sling big enough...

must have been about 30lb though

LOL  well still a cracking little fish rich i dont think i can remember the last ruff i caught. must about 15 years ago on the river huntspill.
