some people have really lost the plot here  gerrard is one of those players , who just cant do it for england , great at club level but not for his country ,
as for turning a game , true , but is it worth the gamble that one out of ten games he will turn it on ?i would rather see a lesser star , putting in a more consistant performance every game .
gives more for his country  thats a laugh , the times i have seen him looking on when he should have been chasing his man down  NA been tried , failed , time to move on imo .

Strange selection for you Steve ,being as Harry was extolling the virtues of Steven Gerrard in today's sun, describing him as being constantly played out of position and one of our TRUE WORLD CLASS players.

If, as I suspecct, Harry was asked a direct question by our beloved - totally unbiased - media, ala "Isn't ST. Stevie Gerrard a huge footballing God"? Harry would do the respectful thing and reply pretty much how you suggest.  FACT
