YIDS!Come off it yiddo's, this is just pathetic!
"Tottenham have confirmed that a Chelsea fan was arrested for making anti-semitic gestures during the recent Barclays Premier League clash between the two teams at White Hart Lane.
"Chelsea are dealing with him and he will receive a life ban from Stamford Bridge," read a statement from Spurs ahead of their defeat to Newcastle.
Spurs also revealed five supporters were arrested after last week's victory over Portsmouth following an undercover operation in the South Stand of White Hart Lane.
It was part of the club's attempts to combat foul, abusive or racist singing at the ground.
"As a result, five fans were duly arrested for this offence," the statement continued."

I assume the fan was "Sieg heiling" Steve???
The problem is now in todays PC world it's unaccpetable
Years ago fans sung at each other and the nastier the song the better it was, purely trying to wind them up. I remember singing Munich songs at Man Utd Fans as it really upset them. It wasn't really at the team and if given a choice I'm sure every human being wouldn't wish a tragedy like that on their worst enemies.
Racist / abusive chanting. For the majority of fans its purely and simply trying to wind the opposition up and not actually personal (if that makes sense) I have seen bananas thrown onto pitches when a black player was nearby, someone once threw carrots and Tony Adams (Donkey) Some of the players used to love the fans having a go at them and it used to fire them up and some used shrivel up into the ground.
Football fans nowadays are a huge mixture. It used to be virtually all blokes with a few dads taking their kids but now there the clubs want families. At Derby there is a lot of women going to the games (11 of them on the pitch ) With more and more women it is now expected of us men to "behave properly"
As for the guy getting a lifetime ban......thats just plain ridiculous

I took from that, that they were simply singing YIDDO's or something akin... That is just pathetic, isn't it, if thats the case?
