Winter nightsHow many of you are going to be doing night sessions through the Winter?
I hear comments like "more room on the bank" and stuff like that but to me the appeal of doing nights is being sat outdoors watching the world go by, so whilst I will be fishing throughout the Winter it will be days for me, how about you?

I still will be when i can do, but getting out has been a little tight at the moment. Although bite time is around midday i still like alot of the aspects of nights. However if i could drive and get down for first light then i think i'd stick to days.

i love them long winter night`s, i prefer to fish in the dark and other than the cold the winter suit`s me just fine, there something special about being out at night in the winter. i cant really describe it but Ive just got to be out there i probably do more night`s in the winter than i do in the summer.
just remember wrap up warm and take plenty of hot food and drink, there nothing worse than being uncomfortable.
we had a few really cold nights last winter but as long as your prepared you should be fine.

Im going to continue to get out whenever I can, time is limited for me at the moment and I can only do day sessions on sundays at weekends due to work commitments and school. So although I would love to be doing many mroe nights than I can throughout the winter, I will still be getting out at every oppurtunity, although the prospects of a decent length session are not looking likely until the christmas period . Still I'll still be doing as many day sessions as I can up until then

Will be doing winter sessions....but will probably be doing more travelling to keep baiting than on the bank with rods..just to keep the fish in touch with the bait...

Sadly if i want to do any amount of time, i have to fish nights due to being busy in the days working for myself, certainly can become a bit of a chore turning up at a lake of a wednesday eve in the dark, getting set up by 7, in bed by 9, then up at 6 to pack away in the dark before working.
..But it does make it feel good when a result or 2 does happen.
Just guess its down to prioritising, and how much you want the fish.
