Where to go? (France)OK then folks, a few suggestions required for me and Chad to go next year.
The criteria
Max, 3 1/2 hrs drive from Calais/Bologne
Max £250
Drive and survive
Any suggestions (and links) most welcome. Folks, what I do want is your recomendations not what you've heard

the only place i can reccomend is Carp anglers dreams Etang De La Boisonnie run by Tripod on here ??? BUT its more than 3 1/2 hrs 
If you do get stuck finding a venue then take a look at that

3.5 hours, you big girls blouse! 
4 hours will get you to Lac du Der chanteqoc, Amance, Orient, Madine....

the great lake Mac around 4 hours drive £175.00 week very nice looking carp and big went in April this year only had one at 25lbs,two friends i went with had carp to 40+ but saw some very big fish when out in the boat can't wait to go back...

Well, I can now thouroughly reccommend St Christophe Mac. A bait boat would be a major advantage, but you can use one of the on-site rowing boats, which, as the water is generally 20' deep, doesn't disturb the fish at all.
