I have been JAFFA 3 times in my life. As a kid I had a real passion for navel oranges, so my mum called me JAFFA. As a 30 somthing, I had the chop so was called it again for obvious reasons and all through my carping life, I have always done well on orange flavoured baits, so in my fishing world I am pretty much known as JAFFA.
Funny old world aint it Paul, my nickname has always been "Froggy", but it has never been used in the fishing world

my name come from a carp pole that shimano brought out as i was cutting my teeth "trying" to catch carp on the trent and mersey canal in the summer of 97.
was fasinated that a pole could land big carp,  and when i think back i often remember the debates that me and my mate rob used to have while carp fishing about this "SUPER POLE"
one of my oldest memorys in carp fishing.

only jokeing...... i got me name from my fellow dirt biker`s, non of them fish so anything over ten pound`s is a big kipper, so after seeing some photo`s of me with fish they named me bigkipper.

Mark Mann well what happened was my mum gave birth and proceeded to give me the title.
Seriously though NoCarpMark was the 1st and only nickname i gave myself it was at a time when i was crunching a few hard syndis and was doing my turn at blanking!
Then one day i thought i would pull the mask off and be me!

mine came from my rugby side of life
was on a rugby tour and had a little to-do with a player called horse ( i came off better)and some 1 mentioned how in the film blazing saddles the character MUNGO knocked a HORSE out cold , it has stuck ever since and im called mungo by every 1 now days i know alot of people that dont even know my name is jay lol
i even caught my dad calling me mungo from the sideline whilst watching me play rugby lol

I got mine from online gaming, I had to choose one so picked Natas who was a famous skateboarder when I was growing up.
I then lost my broadband one time so added the 56k which was the modem I was trying to play on at the time.
It has just stuck since then.

My name comes from my main and favorite style of fishing 'margin' fishing.
All my PB's for as long as I can remember have come from close in, and the water's I fish mainly involve margin fishing.
To be fair I think 'Margin Muppet' would be more suitable for me though

I don't have a username now, obviously, but as some of you may remember from a few years back in pre-magazine days, my username for a long time on forums was Kingcarp.
Self explanitory for most, but some folk did still think that it was a statement of status!
Another nickname that I have been called outside of angling, is Stig - two TV characters spring to mind that might explain that - But perhaps it came about as a reflection of my rather 'natural' hunter-gatherer tendencies, wayward hairstyle (when I was a bit younger) and outdoor lifestyle - and possibly even my, erm, toe-to-the-floor driving style at times
