UCN does the businessnot massive fish but just proof that if the carp are there they will have this bait.
both fish were stalked in less then 2ft of water.
morning 1:
i found some carp rolling on a spot and they were tearing up the bottom. heads buried in the silt and feeding on the naturals.
out comes the 1oz weight and i cast slightly behind them with a single bottom bait only.
20 mins later and alot of tense nail biting i had this 13lb and a bit in the net.....the smaller of the two feeding
before bed that night i threw in about half a kilo of the enzyme and went back to the same spot for the morning feed.
morning 2:
i cast out before the fish arrived with a 2 bait stringer. not for loosefeed, more to slow the descent of the bait.
10 minutes later i look away for a second to rig up my other rod and the rod already fishing was being dragged across the floor.
an amazing deep fight followed and considering its size gave a very good account for itself.
20lb 8oz

i could buy a different pair of shoes, but everytime a pair wears out i buy another set of chequred trainers.........they are my lucky charm
