the test valley ramblings..Got to nutsey on tuesday for my first session.. found that the big girl had been out on friday at 52.8 and that was the only one out in 2 and a half weeks so things didnt look to good..
anyway had my first stroll of the lake and gathered my bearings as to what was where and swims. on my second lap i found a few bubbling in a little corner, so i fetched my gear from the car and got the rods out..
a little before dark i had a take on the right hand rod placed in the margines.. once again the hinged stiffy accompanied by the b5 sorted me right out and yeah First blood a lovely 16.12 common... so well buzzing to get one on the first session.

got down there on saturday night after work, Nothing had been out since and nothing still... came back a night early as the lake froze last night and the task of packing up at 5.30 tomorrow morning just didnt compete with a mcdonalds and a warm bed, but depending on the conditions il go up again next week Or if any are coming out il do an overnighter this week to make up for the lost night.

Havnt returned for 3 nights this week due to the weather making it impossible.. such a small shallow lake just freezes very frequently which is a bit of a nightmare... arriving there at 7pm in the dark to find it frozen over just doesnt do it for me, so il wait untill it warms up a little bit before i return down there as its impossible to margin fish when its all iced up.
