Richo's weekender rod benderHi all thougth i'd better start showing some fish i caught last year as i enjoy looking and reading all your reports.
so here goes if i get it right.

well 2008 has been a blank after blank after blank.. so i took my six year old lad Louie with me for a 24 hour session on good friday on a runs water hopefuly to catch afew (so i thought). we got to the lake at 2pm on friday, tent up after a battle with the winds ,set Louie's rod up first on 3 grains of corn and a bag of pellets he casts outs about 15 yards, 20 mins later he gets his first run and after a little battle a 11lbs 8oz commom (PB) was in the net quick photo and return back to its watery home he recasts and i get one rod out, 5mins later Louie gets his second run he picks up the rod and the tip is inches from the water the carp is slowly pulling him closer and closer to the edge of the lake at this point i take the rod from him and 10 mins later in the snow and hale shower we land a mirror al of 18lbs 4 oz another pb Louie had another carp around 5lbs an one bream 24 hours later i still had nothing hope my next session this Saturday will be better on a new club water.........
