Red red whine

Sir Alex Ferguson rounded on referee Alan Wiley over the award of the decisive penalty.

"It was absolutely diabolical, " he told MUTV. "It is a major decision.

"Granted, it hit his hand. But he has not lifted his hand above his shoulders, above his head, anything like that.

"It is going straight to Rio Ferdinand. The referee should have seen that rather than the linesman.

"If we're not going to get those decisions then we are under pressure."

Ferguson believes his team have not been getting the rub of the green from officials.

He said: "If we're not getting the decisions we deserve then we're going to have to perform really well.

"In the context of today, when (Cristiano) Ronaldo comes on, in the first minute he's grappled to the floor by Ballack.

"It was a clear penalty kick but no penalty was given."

Ferguson was also upset by a challenge by Didier Drogba on Nemanja Vidic, which saw the defender come off after 14 minutes.

The Serbian needed stitches and lost a tooth.

"He got kneed in the face by Drogba - no foul given, " said the Old Trafford boss. "He was dazed rather than concussed."

Come off it red nose... from sour grapes you get red whine  LOL

ballack was out of order , but a penalty ........never  LOL

as for the penalty , well i think he was far enough away , to be able to get his arm away from the ball
they all bitch and moan when its not going there  way  LOL  LOL
Steve Howard

How can he moan about Vidic's injury?

He put his head down as Drogs tried to knee the ball at waiste height... 100% definitely not a foul, but furballson wants a penalty and yellow card?? cripes!

If you study the Ballack/Ronaldo incident, you'll see quite clearly that Ronaldo throws an arm over ballacks shoulder to try to get inside him... ballack simply puffs his chest out and stood firm... Ronaldo then pushes into him and goes down trying to make it appear like a foul...

It wasn't obstruction, but much more of a case that you can't walk through a player... don't expect them to step aside for you Ronaldo, go around them yes, not through them
maple

i missed the first 20 mins steve so never see the vidic injury , ive never thought drogba was a dirty player ,unlike  terry ,carvalio (sp) and Essien .
maple

ive obviously been sent to coventry for my remarks on the holy chelski players
Steve Howard

Obviously in your opinion

A little over a week ago, you sat with your head in your hands all but ready to slash your wrists Steve and what did I tell you?......The season has many more twists yet and United will not win all there remaining games

As you know Steve, I am no fan of whining and the likes and Sir "we are not worthy" Ferguson, would do well on focusing on matters in hand, rather than spilling out an endless stream of excuses, that will fall on deaf ears. It is gone-its finished-move on to the next challenge

I also told you the other week, whilst you were in "woe is me" mode  cripes! , that Wigan will hold the key as to where the title ends up buddy

Mickey mousers 2-1 at the bridge cripes!  whoops!!!!!!....who said that

The greatest midfielder EVER to come from England Stevie "none of you are worthy" Gerrard to score the winner wakeup  wakeup

kind regards Jeff

PS......Paul in my opinion....I make you right
Steve Howard

Did you hear Fergusset complain about THIS 'penalty'?

Of course not, that wasn't a DIVE was it? cripes!

and what did I tell you bud?

That we'd beat Everton, and Utd, but still lose the league on goal difference... nothing to prove me wrong there yet, is there?

And as I told you, that there's a very small likelihood of that happening... but if we had held on just a few more seconds, and got all three points against Wigan, at home, we would now be in a position of power... perhaps its a little more understandable that I was peeved, and I've not been proven wrong to feel that way, have I?

Really? - Surely that is just a wind-up?
You really think that Essien, Carvalho and Terry are 'dirty' players, do you?

IMO, if you truly believe that, then you are being led like a sheep by the media shepherd

steve, beleave it or not ,i'm quite capable of having an opinion without any prompting from the media shepherd m8  LOL
my opinion is based on watching football  with an unbiased eye   unlike your good self ,i'm happy to watch football  and i'm sure as hell not an armchair hooligan, spurs is my team and i want them to win , but i dont feel the hate for other teams that you seem possesed with    LOL
i enjoy watching any team play well , as long as there not beatng spurs up lol .
so what i'm saying , is yes they are dirty players , essien is not as dirty now as he was , but still has his moments  as for the other two , oh yes there dirty players imo
Steve Howard

Steve Howard

They are known as 'red tops' for other reasons than the colour of the heading banner... I'll give you a clue if you can't work it out m8!

No m8, you didn't say they were the 'only' ones, but you did say they were... so did Jeff... I'm simply posting a few facts to dispel the myth you tried to create  LOL

wuzy

ok i feel im on the wall as far as the premiership is concerned, that is until Cardiff get up there, but thats a different matter

most of the teams have got dirty players in them or players looking for the imaginary foul, i include in that catagory

Drogba
Ronaldo
Van Persie
Torres

just off the top of my head, they only need the wind to be blowing in the wrong direction to go down cuckoo!
