Red letter day!morning all,yesterday i did my first session on the frimley pits, pit 2, and it was the best session ive ever had, i made 3 new PB's!! 
i had a 7lb 10oz tench -PB then a 7lb 14oz Tench -PB and then a 20lb 2oz fully scaled mirror carp!! -PB if someone can tell me how to get the picutres up ill show you all soon!!!! Happiest angler in the world!! Matt

ok first you have to host it on the net first http://photobucket.com/ when you have done that you will need the url of the pic when you have that click IMG then paste your url in there and click IMG again then you should have your pic up mac will probaley tell you better then me but theres a start

thanks guys! im really pleased
lol ok mac, if you insist; i woke up at 3am, chucked all my gear in the car, got my last bits ready, woke up my mum and we drove down to the lakes. i had found a spot the day before, a gravel bar just undersome hanging trees, in 6ft of water. i baited up with 3 kilos of 'MJ baits' the day before and a further kilo went in that morning. tackle was esp readymade leadcore bolt rigs, 6 inch hook-links with pva sticks and double boilie on the hair. all was quiet in the monring, until 11am when i received a steady take, resulting in a new PB tench. then a few hours later another run, resulting in a tench (which thought it was a tarpon) which was another PB. then an hour later, a screamer resulted in a 10 minute fight and i landed the absolute beauty of a carp, pictured above. a new PB and my first 20! what a day, what a venue and a pleasing result for the first time using the bait. sorry boys. there are two fully scaled in frimley and that isnt one of them. look at the scales IT IS A COMMON. |

are you 100% sure Al, alot of the scales along the fish's flanks are different shapes and sizes to the rest, surely that cant happen with a common?? | ||

i have caught many commons with different shaped and sized scales. i have also caught fully scaled mirrors. if i am wrong then someone correct me. i have done a little reserch in to the possibilitys of it being a mirror but alas could find no other fully scaled fish that looks like the one matt caught. |

ok fair enough
i would imagine that a common/mirror hybrid would look something like that. Saying that, i havent caught many commons, so my experience is limited to say the least! |

carrying on from my other session on the frimley pits i have been down at my local lake, fishing every other day and have managed 20 fish up to 15lb 8oz in a week! so i was pretty chuffed, but i thought i would show you my favourite fish of all, a true stunner, shame about the pictures, but you no what self takes are like!

lol ok urm,
basically, it was my friends second time fishing, so i thought i would take him to one club water which has a gd head of stockies. Anyway, i moved swims about 4 times, with no luck. so i finally settled down, and accepted defeat, and we just chatted. The i got two odd bleeps and then a huge drop back, set into nothing, then tighted up the slack and felt a heavy weight, the fish took me for an amazing run around, trying to get behind every island on the lake, then it plodded around in the margins for 5 minutes and my mate finally netted it. 23lb 14oz PB - beauty
Rig was, a chod rig, with 12mm indian spice pop-up -HBS, and i would not have caught it if it wasnt for the lads who helped me out with my chod rig mechanics yesterday, so thanks guy! hugely appreciated
