Mainz 's White Acres Adventureim gonna try and make this intresting here we go.
Last week i went to white acres for a weeks fishing. when i got there i had a look at the lakes and found loads of carp cruising on the surface on nearly every lake but as i walked around pats pool i saw a monster ghost carp in the margins lasing about. i swear ive never seen such a big ghosty. so i decided to do a night on pats.
next day i got all my gear sown to pats. i must have fished for about 10hours without a bite but wen i did have a bite i stroke and there was nothing there. after doing the night on pats withoiut having a fish i decided to move to the 'dead leg' swim whgich was a quiet corner of the lake. at around 1 am i had a screamer of a take on the luncheon meat rod i stroke and i immeadietely new it was a decent fissh. i landed it and it turned out to be a 20lb mirror. not bad for a first fish
that night i only had that fish but my dad had landed 4 carp biggest 13lb and a catfish at 11lb. i think it was down to the bait that a bloke had put in the following day.
i decieded to take a brake from pats so i did day session on pollawyn and had about 6 carp on the surface in about 2 hours.
biggest was 13lb
then i done another 2 nights on pats had nothing all night but at 5.30am i had another screaming take on the fusion tipped with corn rod.
after a good scrap it was in the net and i thought it was my p.b which it was.
it weighed 24lb 12oz well chuffed!!!
photography was a little poor due to my mother holding the camera 
had nothing for a couple of hours so i decieded to move back to the 'dead leg' and immeadietly had my first catfish which weighed 9lb
then about an hour later i had another run it turned out to be a 20lb 8oz ghost carp. it was a lovely fish but couldnt get a photo as the camera was in the caravan 
i fished through the night and had nothing until 6.15 am when i had a run but it came off as i strook into it so i was a bit gutted.
and that was it i would have loved to fish more of the pleasure lakes especially bolongey but they were nearly always over fished because of the fish o mania qualifier but im not disapointed. 3 20lbders cant go wrong.
