Macs fluff chuckingToday I went with my girlfriends brother to our local ressie called Carsington Water for a days fluff chuckin. I go with him a couple of times a year and have yet to catch :? (I'm crap at it  ) Arrive at the water around 8.30 and we're soon booked in and have the boat skimming over the surface to our 1st destination. Rob sets me up with a "Black Montana" and 1st cast I stick it in my back  After a little practise my casting is getting better and I am feeling a little more confident  An hour or so into our day and I'm into a fish........yeee haaaa  Not a huge fish but it was my very 1st fish caught on a fly 
At just under 2lb a perfect size for the pot
Nothing more so we decide to move spots 2 or 3 times throughout the day and saw very little so we decided to go back to the bay where we started. As soon as we got there fish were topping etc and 2 or 3 casts in and Robs has his 1st fish. Not as big as mine but welcome all the same. The fish came on the feed and I ended up with 3 and Rob 4 with both of us losing 3 or 4 fish too :?
A fantastic day was had

congratulations on your first fly caught fish mac
you want to have a go on your local cut for perch and pike on the fly, you do get some odd look`s but it`s great fun trust me.
