manor's my fav mate, had cut tail feeding in the back bit several times over the last few years, still havnt managed to bag her yet!!
depends what you want mate, bag up on oxlease or brassnose, that can be a right laugh at times. hardwick has some cracking fish in too.
best thing is to have a chat with roy down there before you go he will give you all the info and advice you need.

yeah manor looks a nice idea and maybe a chance of pb for me.alot of people talk about st johns but thats looks a hard and tricky water

To be honist mate id give oxlease a go first. its not an easy pit but id say for you, just startin out really, it would be you best bet. speak to any of the lads there and tell them that your learning and its your first time on and they will put you where you need to be.

Manor used to be the hardest lake on the complex and its well past its glory days now. I'd consider one of the others lakes, Hardwick is well worth a look.

dime,i wouldnt really say im starting out.ive been carp fishing for way over 3 years but the lake i fish im so determined to get my first 20lber from there has limited me and its a very strict lake no bolt rigs, braid hooklength, bolies and other certain baits etc.its kind of resticted my expereince and trying to develop(if im making sense) .but now im driving i wana get to other lakes and try for my first 20lb.
oxlease, how much is it for 2 nights?

B1 is a good water for a 20lber i had two last year on the zig rig plus 8 upper double in 24hrs.
I think Oxlease is still closed

No worries fella you'll get that first 20 this year, fish the waters that contain a big head of them and it will happen.

jimbob oxlease was your best bet but unfortunately they suffered from the floods in July and had to close the lake as they lost quite a few fish down the river windrush and the lake has been closed. There restocking the lake but haven't said when they will be open it.
You could get yourself a carp society membership and give horseshoe a go with a good head of 20+ fish and a good few 30s your chances a pretty good for a new PB.
The fish in horseshoe are stunning and move around quite a bit.
good luck with your quest where ever you decide

ah right just looking in at the website and hunts corner lake sounded a good but thats had the same problem.i dont like the cemex site the only day ticket is sandhurst all the others you have to book the whole bloody lake

hunts was one of the linear syndicate lakes jimbob with a waiting list of around 3yrs.
if your looking around sandhurst area you could try frimley pits or tri-lakes there around that area.I havn't fished around that are for around 15 yrs but i'm sure a few of the lads on here know the lakes
cemex have quite a few day ticket waters including yateley

ive heard from people frimley is really tough.i know someone thats thinking of trying sandhurst and hes about the same standard as me i would say.i might see what he thinks about it.i know someone else who bums sandhurst seriously he likes "at sandy i did this"all the time lol.well he says he sees alot of top anglers there so it must be intimidating .i think he said dave levy help land one of his fish.
