Hi

Anyone fished in Holland before? Can you recommend any area's / waters?

Ive never fished abroad before, but catching a scale perfect common or heavily scaled mirror sounds much more appealing than fishing the commercial waters of France.

Fished in holland last year in april. (the south of holland) a place called hevvasluis you can even stay a villa with a lake as your back garden. And down the road theres canals n moats witch hold sum big carp.

i lived in holland about 20 years ago. i used to walk out of my back garden, straight onto a small lake, just past that there was a canal.

trouble was i weren't into carp fishing then, but would regularly feed the fish with my son.

the canals (which vary in size) do hold many BIG carp, some don't allow night fishing so check first. also, depending on where you fancy fishing, check the tide times. don't take a catapult, you can't use them.
