Beaky, I have a friend here in Regina who's from Birkenhead and I had another, (now passed on), who was from Wallasey. Small world, no? The lass from Birkenhead maintains that Liverpool is the capital of Ireland!
You'll like it here Rabbit, this is the first forum I joined years ago after I started carping and there were some very nice and helpful people here then, as I'm sure there are now.
