GraylingI caught my first grayling the other day on the Itchen in Winchester.
It weighed about 2lb, i had another one but lost 2 as well.
I was suprised at how well they fight as well. Excellent fish!
What is your PB grayling?

Well, first Ben let me say welcome to the forum
and secondly well done on the 2lb grayling that's a big specimen mate.
I haven't purposely fished for them but they are in my local river The Dove. On there I've fished the maggot feeder and had them to around a pound

grayling.
you wana have a go on the dry fly for um great fun, and as grayling are a game fish you can take them home and eat them if you wish, but not for me thank you thay look much nicer in the river, and yes thay do scrap,
lovely fish and a 2 pounder is a cracker.

I almost got a picture with it but it wouldn't keep still so it slipped out of my hand and back into the river  A bit gutting but i got a pic with a smaller fish i had later on.
I just wish i lived closer to the river so i can go more often
