Digital

Im after a new digital camera, although Ive got a budget of around £100, 99% of the time it will just be used for fishing purposes, trophy shots etc but I'm quite into taking scenic shots aswell. Does anyone have any recommendations, or ideas of what camera to get? Tbh i dont really have the first clue about cameras lol, Any help would be appreciated.

I had a look at a sony cybershot, 7.1 megapixel which was around the £100 mark, but I'm a bit stuck as to what to get, theres so many to choose from lol.

although mine is the completely black one and imho better looking.

varies greatly in price from shop to shop, worth having  a look around.
i paid £120 for mine mate.

highly recommended.

Ben like you say there’s so many to choose from, but your off to a good start.
You know what you want your camera for. Cos that’s the main thing to think of first.

Write a short list of what you want out of your new camera.
Remember things like night shots, you will need a good size memory card, can this be change for a bigger one if you want it?  and what batteries.. Are they easy to replace?

Go and have a look in some camera shops but don’t take any money, then you cannot be pushed in to buying something you don’t want, but you can pick they’re brains.

My best tip for buying anything, I know you said £100 but if you do like something that’s little bit more money, leave it a week or two and save and get the one you do want.
Good luck Ben.

Yeah it will mainly be used for trophy shots although I'm quite getting into scenic photos. Also would be great to have one with a decent self timer too! lol, i can no longer be doing with the 10 second one on my phone, its just so impractical, especially if the fish is a bit lively.

I will take a look around a few camera shops, the only research I have done so far was flicking through an argos catalogue where I found a couple of ones that may be suitable.

Thanks ben

i got mine from Argos ben and it`s spot on for what i want. you can get um for about £100 now, great flash for night shot`s a variably timer, battery`s seam to last forever (lithium) it`s got all the gizmo`s you can want on a digi, it`s also 7.1 mega pix, ive got the Kodak ZD710.

ive also just bought a bulb release and cradle bracket, so no need for the timer any more.
