What is the best way/what to use to clean the camera lens?

I hate cleaning lenses, think sometimes they look worst after I cleaned them with fluff or smear left from what product I put on there!!

i have used that compressed oxygen spray, seems to get rid of dust, not sure about other dirt

What about mirrors inside the camera..
Do they need cleaning after time?
If so can you DIY or do you need to take somewhere to have this done?

No ghost you are more than able to do this yourself just need to get your head into the manual and work out how to "Lock off" the mirror and then follow the cleaning instructions!

Compreassed cans of air are readyly available just tap into google camera cleaning kits and you will find what your after!

I use the canon Eos range they have a dust reduction shake sensor that proves to work very well so the need to clean the mirror is not really a problem!

I have a cleaning solution

I think it's pure alcohol but I'm not sure... This cuts through every bit of grease and dirty finger prints when run over with a cotton bud (not made of cotton though - it's a special one which doesn't leave fibers behind)
