Changing

For those that willbe fishing through the Winter will you be changing your baits that you have used through the Summer to something else?

Will you be using more/less bait?
bigkipper

i will be the first to answer then mac

i will be using the same bait that i have been using this year it is my own that i make at home and was put together with winter in mind. if I'm on a bait that works i don't like changing it i will try other bait`s during the summer but prefer to stick to a bait that has proved it`s self for the winter.

as there will be less angler`s on the bank as the colder month`s arrive i will be putting more bait in to try and compensate for what is not going in if you get my drift. on the canal i will stick to what I'm doing but spend more time sorting out location.

i have just picked up my delivery of cc moors base mix ingredients and my kitchen is full of lot`s of bag`s of different powder`s much to NW announce.

the thing i like about rolling my own is that no one else is on it and i know they like it and i know exactly whats in it.

i wont be changing either...why change something thats working..its all about keeping the bait going in

I will change slightly, use a different bait on one rod and keep with the main bait on the other two.
Rabbit

i use a lot of particle in the summer, but turn to boilies in the winter, i buy freezer bait`s as i wouldn't have a clue about making my own (but I'm willing to learn) i use bait from a big company that has a proven track record. i want be changing my tutti frutti`s for anything unless it was better of course.

what make`s a good winter bait ? educate me some one

Going to have stu at bm baits knock me up a chocco-malt tangy bird food mix, i want them to sh1t the bait out as quick as they eat it.

I think the winter bait is more of a feel good factor for the fish in winter, need something easy to eat and pass through.

chocalate malt at 5ml and 2 ml of nash strawberry oil is one of my all time favourites for the winter.
