champions league final ticketsChelsea and Man.u have both annoced not selling out there seat allocations so does this show that there are more "armchair" fans than we think or is it simply the cost and the distance to get there.
any thoughts

I am gobsmacked at the "armchair fan jib".
Do you honestly think for one minute, that if this final was held in the UK it would NOT be sold out ........United sell out 75,000 tickets for a mid week game against Bolton for gods sake. They could sell out Wembley on there own for this match!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could over a grand for travel plus ticket and over a day to get there has anything to do with it??????
Russian police.....substandard accommodation......no political co operation between the two countries....no on street embassy.
Armchair fan ....DO me a favour
kind regards Jeff

If this match was played in a 500,000 seater stadium in the UK do you not think that 400,000 seats would be taken by UTD supporters and Chelski would struggle to fill the remaining 100,000.... Costs.... £1000 a match is too much, especially as its on terrestrial TV....

Yawn... the plastic ma(n)c is off again
You spout about your popularity, but neglect to realise that the 'worldwide appeal' purely means that united have far more plastic fans than anyone else!
I hear that 25,000 cornish pasties are being delivered today to make the united fans feel more at home

slightly hipocritical wouldnt you say adam?
lol
but im not being funny, how many fans do united have worldwide, or even in the UK alone, i wouldnt like to think tbh
i do think adam has a point
they would easily sell out if it was in the UK probably 10 times over but thats just it "a game in the UK" , i do think alot of the so called true supporters "I follow my team, wherever, whenever" kinda fans are staying right at home in the arm chairs lol
i dont care about it really, it just irritating when people say things like that and then when it comes to it..
