kind regards Jeff

they do look good!

now......crazy thought.

they say 100% waterproof. could that mean, on really dodgy venues where gear could potentially be nicked. could you fish and hide your rods and reels underwater??

just want to clarify. i wouldnt actually fish a venue that would be that bad  LOL

yes
tom has tested the alarms underwater , infact he had one alarm underwater during a session for over 24hours , and it worked perfectly
i cant wait till i get my hands on a set
Cambs Carper

They look brilliant, and at that price i reckon there going to be my choice over nevilles.
Mark Mann

They are the nuts i know the lad behind them and you know there going to be pukka i have myself some on back order not to be misses!!1
Mac

Whilst they do look good and I'm pretty certain they will do exactly what it says on the tin, for someone to buy from scratch you're looking at 400 quid for a 3 rod set up.

That could put quite a few out of the reckoning
scotcarp

only thing i can see that is wrong with them is no speaker on the alarm what if something went wrong with the receiver if you were away for the week to say france ?

the whole set up is very well made and very reliable , but like any other electrical item , there is a slim chance something might go wrong ,
but to be honest ,if your fishing waters in another country , then you should be prepared for such events
i always carry a spare full set of cheap alarms + spare batteries , because things happen    like a stupid french pike angler , going out on the water before first light and ripping through two of my long distance rods at such a pace the braid destroyed the wheels and almost cut the ear clean off of two alarms  Mwraahaha

things happen lol
Brendon

I believe there will be more alarms forthcoming in a year or so, including one with a speaker.

To be honest that will be the one im waiting for as I can see myself losing the reciever far too easily lol
bigkipper

i think the receiver in the Gardner page comes with 3 transmitters mac the new alarm have them built in so probably want be £199 for the receiver. the alarms are priced sensibly IMO, but how much would the receiver be ?
colehill_carper

the alarms look the bizz and i hope there more reliable than the v2 reciever mine well lets say it is also compleatly silent LOL

and what have you done about it    posts like this really pee me off , when it concerns ATTX stuff , toms offers an after sales service that puts every company to shame , if you have a problem ,contact tom , he will put it right .
as for the v2 , well i have used mine in proper foul weather , not this pussy weather we get in england , they have been out in  minus 8 frosts , and  12 hours of flat out rain and lightning ,  did the v2 stop working  , no it never , battery life is also great .

Ben

I had a little look at these at a trade show today
they look a awesome piece of kit, well worth having if youve got the money
just i feel the price is a bit steep for what they are, your looking at 240 for a 2 rod set up

sorry didnt realise i was involving myself in the international brown nose championship qualifyers. i wish you all luck the the final LOL
maple

listen you gobby little [censored] , there no brown nosing about it , fact is , you contact tom and he will sort it .
bigkipper

ok let`s leave it there guys...

but before we do......

colehill...... if you have a problem with a product and have not been bothered to contact the manufacture then you have no right to sound off about it, and for what i can see there is no brown nosing going on, just opinions and if a product is good and has not let some one down and they have a good opinion of the product and the manufacture then where is the brown nosing ?

paul..... i can understand your frustration fella, but can you please keep it clean.

thanks BK

colehill_carper

whoa think iv got a bite  i have contacted gardner and i have to take it back to the tackle shop which i braught it from
richchappy

well seen these yesterday and look good,

dead dead small, infact tiny, and seems a neat little gadget,

you can get the 3 with reciever for less that 3oo so not too bad...

quite a cure little alarm,

just imagine a midget nev, has the exposed roller wheel...
Bammer

Silent buzzer ??

Can anyone explain this to me  ?
Mark Mann

No sound comes from the alarm itself, only the reciever!
nick_dunn

get over it maple he only said his was broke, and he was then only voicing his experience with the product. i dont see what the problem is. i get your point about after service.. but the point is it still went wrong.

I went up to a trade show on monday and looked at the alarm, im amazed how small they are, but they do look really good. thought for a split second about replacing my nevs.

Blimey Sam you sound just like Leslie Crowther

COME ON DOWN

Sam, have you contacted Techon about your problem? If so I would very interested in his response. Having never dealt with Techno personally I cannot give experience but I have never heard a bad word about any of his stuff or his service.

So, Sam, mail Techno, and let us know what happens.

P.S.

Do I qualify for a brown nose badge now too  LOL
JAFFA

Sam and Nick....wind your necks in!!!!!!!!!! Mwraahaha

Sam I gave you a link.....Wasted effort or what?

Techno Tom invented em, he made em, he tested em, he owns just about every thing to do with em......

Why go to Gardner when I have given you a pukka and correct way to sort the problem????????????

Now trust me guys......No matter WHAT IS SAID.......Tom WILL sort your issues out on the link I  posted!!!!!!!!!

kind regards Jeff
nick_dunn

Mac

Double brown noser for saying it twice  LOL  LOL  LOL
maple

dont you start you northern tart    LOL  LOL
Techno

colhill, why havnt you sent your v2 back if you "think" its faulty?
My mobile and land line numbers and email addy are in the instruction booklet and on my website, I answer my mobile and emails 24/7

IMO the ATTx V2 is ULTRA reliable mate, we have sold thousands and had a very small % back but then nothings ever perfect.

You have a TWO year warrenty and the system will be replaced within 2 days if its faulty,

Or ofcourse you COULD ring or email me mate to sort it out

The RRP for the ATTs is £69.95 The RRP for the Receiver is £99 for RRP for a 3 rod system is not £400 its £308.85

Tom
JAFFA

Cheers Tom......I KNOW 110% for sure, your aftersales is the best out there and I thankyou for comming on to help clear this matter up buddy

nick_dunn

Let me say i work in a shop and we have sold a fair few of the attx sets and have had hardly any problems... when we did Gardner sorted it and our customers in the past have used tom directly.

we have sets of the atts on order already, if we thought it was crap we wouldnt sell it.

sam was just one of the unlucky few.
Mark Mann

I'm def having some.

Delks have done me well but these little puppy's are a must have!!!
Techno

Mark, got your txt m8 no worries be intouch
