I dont want to make excuses for Amir and im not a boxing expert but he is fasting at the moment and surely this had to effect his fighting performance.

fasting , more like fasting asleep
the board of control would not let him fight if he was not fully prepared m8 .
its a shame , but the signs were there , his chin is made of glass sad but true .

wee willie limond is not the best fighter and he had amir down and ever since then i thought he was very suspect at being able to take one

Funniest news ive had for ages when I heard...might serve him right for noncing round Bolton town with his 'mates' thinking hes well ard...got a mate who moved from Bolton because of the likes of Khan and his sort...said it all along...sooner or later he'd get his chin cracked...theres a load of mates up that way of mine who would be first in the que to do it(and they would ) gobby little w*^ c&$"

Then he should not fight if he is not in tip top condition!
There would be a danger of serious injury if you are not 100% up for it.

Kahn is just like Jackie Turpin! He looked good for a while but his glass jaw will be the end of him.

Frank Warren was on Talk Sport today and said the talk of him having a "glass jaw" was total crap. He went onto say his defense does need looking at though

when there is no more to be earnt out of khan , guess what warren will say bout his jaw then

hes been knocked down before, this could be down to balance issues, but has he ever been wobbled before, like proper hurt?
now name a fighter that could have took a punch like the one amir took to the temple, and been ok?

Sorry there is not enough room to list them all!
If he was any good he would not have been copped. Jackie Turpin was the same and everbody did him when he was found wanting, in the end they took his license off him and he went wrestling!

quite right snobber
i was not going to reply to this post , but mat , you need to study boxing a bit longer m8 , khan has not got a balance issue , if he did have , he would fall over after throwing some punches etc , he has been dropped /wobbled by a couple of light punchers (very light ) look at the stats of them , it tells you all you need to know ,
the first left hook and he was done , he never should of been aloud to carry on .........fact .
he can still be a champion , he needs to go over to america and get some proper training , wont help his chin , but at least he will learn to duck and dive and defend himself properly .

of course he has defence issues, I didn't think that needed stating, it's pretty obvious, yes he has been down but has he ever really been hurt? I'm not saying he has a strong chin, far from it, what I am saying is that his only real issue is defence, and I'm sorry snobber but I disagree, maybe you need to look at that punch again, if there's not enough room for them all, name me just two fighters that would have taken it in their stride?

well i was not sure it was obvious to you , as you come out with that balance excuse

who would have taken that punch in there stride ....
how about .
Diego "Chico" Corrales.
and ,
Jose Luis Castillo,
Acelino "Popo" Freitas.
Julio Diaz,
Juan Diaz,
theres plenty more lightweights that could have taken that punch m8.
