AlcoholHas anyone out there tried adding alchol as a flavour? If so any good?
I know that Whiskey boilies were the "in" boilie a while ago but as far as I know it didn't have any whiskey in it
But Whiskey does have a strong smell, what about beer etc?
I know some will say what a waste and rather stick it down their throats but would it work?

a friend of mine has used neat whiskey as a bait soak, and he did ok on it cant say he did any better but he caught carp so it must work.
i don't know much about bait, but good whiskey shouldn't be wasted on fish
what does alcohol do to bait and why would carp find it attractive.

Tigers soaked in Barley wine is gooooood....
An emulsifier splits oils/fats in water... it enables oils/fats to be present in small particles rather than a floating mass...

I passed the offlicence one day and the owner was dumping a few slabs of beer that were gone past their best before date.
I brought it home and tried soaking and cooking my particles in it and it works a treat.
It seems to help them ferment faster
