A Job NOBODY wants!!!!!!!!!!Luciano Spallett = No thank you.
Ancelotti = No thank you.
Mourino = No thank you.
Hughes = No thank you.
Guus Hiddink = No thank you.
Sven Goran Errickson = No thank you.
Roberto Mancini = No thank you.
Roy Keane = yer right!
No doubt the filler of this post WILL be Chelsea's FIRST choice
But is this job turning into a job that NOBODY wants? And is it a result of Chelsea treating to WHOLE football world like FIFA08?
Managing Newcastle is now officially a better job in football
And on top of all of this......Ronaldo is STILL an United player
kind regards Jeff

Oh dear. Here go the mouthy 'mancs' again, attempting to wallow in some sort of percieved advantage they 'think' they might have gleaned... that 'desperate' are we... you plastic glory hunters??
It's ONLY your chosen clubs' success that makes you 'fans', in a paralel universe doncaster rovers would be your team and united would be a club you merely scoffed at, such is your false 'support'.
Anyway, to reply to your typical media-sheep bleating...
Can you back up anything with direct quotes from the club via reliable sources as to who they may or may not have approached Jaffa?
No? - Thought not.
The process to get a new manager is almost certainly one that began with the departure of Jose Mourihno back in September last year, Grant was only ever going to be a 'caretaker' and imo was merely put in place until the end of season.
Now, do you sincerely think Roy Keane is even capable of such a high profile job? - You cannot seriously suggest that he would EVER be considered? That's so typical of the 'plastic manc' attitude, he was 'united', so he must be a god... of course he is, yer rite!
I don't understand your twisted logic that Mourihno would be considered... he had fully proved to the club that his over-inflated ego was not to their liking, and his style of management and play was no longer desired... yes, of course they wanted him back
As for a new appointment, Scolari is possibly the man being lined up... but then again, as the club have made no announcements, that is as speculative as your suggestions, isn't it.
One thing is CERTAIN... whoever it is, it won't make too much difference, Man USA still won't have an easy ride to 'victory' for you glory hunters, and your gloating at the merest suggestion that united's main rival over the past five seasons 'may' be in some way 'weakened' speaks volumes about you.
Hiddink:
The Dutchman added that he had not spoken to Chelsea about the job.
"Everyone is speculating because a deal [with the Russian FA] is not signed officially," said Hiddink. "But what is more important to me is that there is an agreement between the president and me.
"I have not spoken to Chelsea regarding the vacant job, but every now and then I have contact with Abramovich about the development of Russian football. That is my only contact."
Ancelotti:
"(Chelsea) asked for our permission and naturally everything stopped there," Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told the Serie A club's website.
"I'm staying at AC Milan for sure, and for many seasons to come," said the 48-year-old Italian in a statement.
"There has been no agreement with Chelsea. They are just rumours, the same ones that come up every year."

|
Spalletti:
Spalletti told Sky Italia: "The truth is that I have not got contract proposals from other clubs, including from Chelsea.
"Many things have been said and written about this. A few days ago someone, for example, wrote I wasn't ready to go to Chelsea because I didn't know the English language and I didn't feel myself adequate to the task.
"The same person, two days later, said I was waiting for Chelsea's call and that I had already contacted one of Roma's best players to come with me.
"These are absolutely bad things (to say and write)."
So he didn't say NO as he wasn't approached - propoganda

Re: A Job NOBODY wants!!!!!!!!!! | JAFFA wrote: |
Luciano Spalletti = No thank you. |
FACT: He is quoted as saying that he has never been approached by anyone from Chelsea about the job.
| JAFFA wrote: |
Ancelotti = No thank you. |
FACT: Chelsea asked his club for permission to talk to him about the possibilty, and permission was denied.
| JAFFA wrote: |
Mourino = No thank you. |
FACT: He was never offered it and never would have been.
| JAFFA wrote: |
Hughes = No thank you. |
FACT: Hughes had his admirers on the board, but the man who matters, Abrahmovic, declined to take him on despite sparkys 'suggested' plea "come and get me in the next 24-hours or I go to Citeh"
| JAFFA wrote: |
Guus Hiddink = No thank you. |
FACT: Even before Grant was sacked, Hiddink tried to crush the obvious speculation by stating very clearly that he fully intended to honour his agreement to see out his contract as the Russian coach which runs until 2010
| JAFFA wrote: |
Sven Goran Errickson = No thank you. |
FACT: Don't be ridiculous, even you cannot seriously suggest such a thing!
| JAFFA wrote: |
Roberto Mancini = No thank you. |
FACT: There has been no official quote suggesting contact made either to his club while they still employed him, or directly to Mancini or his agent.
| JAFFA wrote: |
Roy Keane = yer right! |
I agree, yer right! - Only a manc could think that this was even a remote posibility!
| JAFFA wrote: |
No doubt the filler of this post WILL be Chelsea's FIRST choice |
Of course it will be! - If the right man is available, he'll gladly take up the opportunity. If, however, there are those not willing to break their agreements and contracts, fair play to them, but chelsea WILL get their man

Steve we both know that none of them are going to admit any contact with Chelsea After all most of the list are under contract
Bit like the Ashley Cole transfer really and of course the whole world knows that no contact was made BEFORE the official one
Any truth in the rumour that Mancini and Rikard are to dine on Romans yacht this week then
kind regards Jeff

I don't know Jeff, do you?
As I say, repeatedly, if you choose to read and believe the media hype, that's your lookout.
Personally, unless there is anything in "quotes", I believe nothing - most reports use 'it is reported' - 'It is believed' - 'It has been suggested' - 'Rumour has it' - 'sources suggest' etc etc etc... and if you believe just one of these, you are being hoodwinked.
I read "quotes" and feel that if anything is written as a direct quote that is untruthful, or misrepresenting what was said, it will quickly be contested in or out of court.
BTW, Given the fact that RA has NEVER held a press conference, and has NEVER been directly quoted by the media - and is hardly likely to run around the world disclosing his whereabouts and plans in either his private or business life - it sure is remarkable how often the press know his exact thoughts, plans and intentions, isn't it?
Perhaps you should consider becoming an anti-chelsea media hack Jeff, you seem to take great pleasure in 'creative' news reporting!

So if what your saying is correct that no1 has been approached or officailly conntacted then why is it then that chelsea are signing players without a manager
because what im starting to think is that we have already got some1 lined up but cant announce it because they are managing a team in the euros.

You read too much anti-chelsea garbage Jeff, I've told you before about the piyfalls of doing that... If you willingly choose to believe the media hacks, then you fully deserve to be misinformed and made to look foolish bud!!
Well, how does it feel to be proved totally and utterly wrong, then Jeff??
Do you still believe that Chelsea have spent the last three weeks courting the likes of Mancini, Rikaard, Ancellotti et al?
No, the signs were there weeks ago if you had paid attention bud. ...
perhaps you didn't see the signing of Portugese International RB Boswinga as being significant?
Perhaps you overlooked the fact that Euro 2008 was taking place and that Scolari was remaining tight lipped about his future without ONCE denying any contact with Chelsea, and yet making it very clear that he would say nothing about his future until after the Euro's had ended!
Perhaps you never read the QUOTES made by Carvalho and Ferrera, who all but gave the game away in welcoming Scolari as the 'potential' new manager
Hmm, a horrid thought just occurred - I really hope that 'big phil' dislikes the slimey, Portugese diving champ, Ronaldo as much as I do!!!
Mind you, we could always buy him as a bench-warmer, i s'pose
