Hello you lot,its been a while,i have been racking my brains trying to decide what to do for the best so i thought i would put it out in the open and air my thoughts and concerns about a new approach to this stop start bait company of ours,

I am dubious about re-starting again purely because of fulltime work commitments and the toll it puts on myself both physically, mentally and financially, but was considering just going with one bait.A combination of moonfruit and the enzyme, which would offer the best of both worlds!I have not spoke to Pete about this and im sure he will have his say on the matter but would really like peoples opinion as to its viability,so please feel free to air your welcome opinions good or bad!

                                         Regards,Moo

Hi mate ........from what I can see you have put a lot of time and effort in to your bait company       and its never going to be easy to compet with the big boys in the fishing world as they have it prity well to them selfs.
but there are a lot of smaller company out there and as long as they have a loyal costomer base they will keep ticking over.

I think you have to weigh up what you want in life and how much effort you want to put in to it, as trying to follow your dreams ( will come at a cost )

I think advise from otheres will not realy solve your problem     as its only you who will know what price you are prepared to pay

could you just sell the basemix etc ready to roll, save you a lot of work, but dont know how dogey it is with enzymes etc, would be a way of doing it and reducing work load...

just get some poles in to roll it lol, cheap labour:D

Hi Dean
I hope you are in better health these days

I don’t know if going down the one bait road will work as Mr Baitcraft is now finding out.. unsure

Big Ron's words seem to sum it up well..  only you will know…

Regards

only bought 5 kg from yourself just as i found out you were going to stop making the baits boohoo  and the results that i had from the 5kg that i bought were probably the best i have had on any bait so i would be well chuffed if you were going to start up again dean as i am struggling as to what bait to go with this year but only you and pete can make that decision bud,is there no one that you can get to roll the baits for you, would take the pressure away from you a bit, anyhow what ever you decide all the best and a happy new year pal

only pete and yourself can answer that problem, i thought all was going really well combining both buisnesses. what a tragic loss it would be to us all if you decided it was to much of a workload to make your excellent bait. if you only produced one bait, and i am sure with your combined bait knowledge that it would be stunning. i have been out of touch with the carp scene this year due to personal problems, and re-forming the rock band, so i hope you can keep keep going as i will be back this spring, and i certainly dont want to use a hyped up overpriced major bait bait company, i prefer the real thing. all the best moo, jimmy.

Hi Dean,

I think it's right in saying it's what you thinks best for yourself for you to decide whether you want to carry on with this really, i can't see how us giving out our opinions can change anything in what your heart really wants to do.. I brought 50kg off you around may time to use on one of my syndicate waters and i can honestly say its been the best season so far for me on there since using the bait for the 1st time..i've had a couple of the low 30 plus commons that recide in the lake which i've been after for a couple of years along with most of the upper 20's and i had most of these fish by mid september so at least i knew i was using a bait they really enjoyed eating..if you and pete do carry on making baits even if it's only one mix you decide to carry on with i will certainly be buying more off you.

i think alot of people have summed it up pretty well already.

i also agree i hate paying for the overpriced rubbish they sell on the shelves!

you dont get the excellent service from the bigger companies as you do with the smaller privately owned ones and thats a big factor for alot of people. being able to actually talk to the matey that makes there bait.

Hi Mate, as you know I have a very time consuming job... and I have literally no time to devote to a bait company other than ideas and recipes, you have the best bait available to anyone at this moment in time, it will beat anything if fished side by side, you know, you have seen it in action...
It will work, it will take time though... in today's economic climate everyone is suffering, even the big boys, the product is everything, you have achieved far more than we expected at the start, don't let it go, get A.N Other involved and continue.. Give me a call.......

A decision has been made that we are on the lookout for a reputable company that can exclusively roll and sell our baits. They will be the only distributors of these throughout the uk and europe,so if you know of anyone that may fit the bill or is interested then please let me know.We need a tomake this work as we believe our baits have enormous potential, thanks,Dean

Hi Dean

Would probably have to be a company that is fairly successful, as a small company probably wouldnt want to sell a bait that is better than theirs ! ?

I really hope you make this work as im gagging to get my hands on some more enzyme !
