thanks dean , guys
ended up with 55 carp , no lumps this time , but fish from 18 upto 30lbs more than made up for that in there sheer fighting spirit
spent nine days on the river but only fished seven split into two swims , i never fish the first 24 hours in a swim ,
its true i became a minor celebrity with the local people and anglers, due to the fact most normally only catch between 2 and 4 fish in a weekend , and as i had eleven fish in one very mental spell during one day , it kind of amazed the locals that this was possible . as per usual the locals were really nice people (dont ever beleave it when you hear the french are unfriendly ) rubbish was taken away for us , beers brought down , even three old couples came down on sunday to say goodbye and wish us a safe trip , blooming people made it really hard to come home
oh yes i came home a few kg light of moonfruit as i like to spread the word and hand some out , and a lesson i gave in fish safety resulted in me giving my unhooking mat to a very keen young lad
back in september , when i hope the cooling down ,will result in some of the bigger fish feeding ,that i know are in there . _________________ Echoes and silence

The French are rude, smelly ignorant and don't like the English..........that's if you believe the stereotype of them all. Can't agree more mate, my experiences of the French when I have been on fishing trips has been nothing except enjoyment and they have been very friendly, and as you say it's hard to leave for home after such a great experience _________________ under 18? Well done again mate...
And never was a truer word spoken about the French... Such friendly people whenever I've come across them on my travels over there... _________________ Braaaaaazziiiilllllssss it's just like using Brazils!!!! |
