Our loved ones and friends are the most precious gift to us all along life's passage... the truama caused by terminal cancer doesn't need to be spelled out, but the very least any of us can do is to support those who attempt to ease that trauma.

I can only echo Steves comments here. I have seen at 1st hand the superb work this charity does.
And remember, fund raising can be so much fun, I've got some tales to tell how 6 of us raised over 5 grand for them. So you can have a laugh along the way too!! _________________ under 18? Get in THE ZONE

Thanks for doing this guys, i will be posting a Stoney and Friends Fish with a Star Auction later today. Its your chance to bid on spending a day with a top angler. Fishing one one of his favourite lakes, you have a choice of 12 top names to bid on.
All monies raised as always will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support. |

Hi Markerfloat
2 questions for ya
How did you get to be involved with Stoney and friends? (If it's sad tale and you don't want to answer then please don't)
The fish with a star auction, I'm willing to make a bid(ish) but due to work(shifts) cannot guarentee what days and where I would be available, is there any leeway at all? _________________ under 18? Get in THE ZONE

Hi mate answers are
1...got involved via another forum..we held a baitboat v rods challenge over 2 days to see if there were any advantages as to using a boat.
2..the star angler will be selecting the date and venue to fit in with his schedule, but having spoken to them all there will be a few available dates
Hope this helps
Make a bid mate it for an excellent cause :)

In the Middle of last year my mother inlaw was diagnosed with non hodgkins cancer and is halfway through her treatment. The nurses are brilliant and have helped her no end.. Because of this i wanted to help so i will be doing my bit this year by having a crack in the Rods v Boats match in July. A truly wonderfull cause.
Anything else i can do just let me know!!! |
