Eel`s part two

this Friday night i will be back on the canal but this time i will have two eel rod`s out, so fingers crossed.

is any one on here going to have a go for a big snake this year.

if any one is looking for more info on eel fishing then i have found a great looking eel forum, the lad`s on there are really helpfully and make you feel most welcome, a bit like here really.

well out last night.....i blanked. but luke (pocket rocket) got in to the action and landed two eel`s the first being a new pb for him at 3lb 1oz, his second eel went 2lb 4oz.

Did friday night after snakes on two rods carp on two.
I had countless runs but connected with only two (one the hook pulled big eel boohoo

)
It was 1lb 6oz

poxy thing lol i took piccys of it so i may put them up later, it was on a bunch of worms (one whole threaded up the hook and two halfs)

I blanked last night after eels very surprising, and had a 2lb 7oz snake last week will do pictures later.
Caught on a few worms one whole threaded up the hook and two worms halfed, fished JS rig styleee.
Tried lamprey this week after them anyone else tried them snakey things for the bigger snakey things?
