Baitboats v Rods Part III
This will once again take place at Sandhurst Lake in Yateley between 18th and 20th July 2008.
Next years event will have a different set up, with the match comprising of 12 teams of two anglers. It dosent matter if your team is two rods, two baitboats or one of each.
The reasoning behind this change is there is a prize on offer to the winning team of a weeks drive and survive for 2 to France.(ferry included if l can wangle it again). My thanks go out to Paul at Essex Angling for arranging this for us.
The match will begin at 07.00am on Friday 18th July and finish at midday on Sunday 20th July.
The Island swims will be closed for this event
Prizes will then be presented at this time.
Teams will be accepted on receipt of entrance money which is £120 per team ( £60 per angler) to cover a maximum 3 rods per angler, on a first come first served basis. Nobody will be ‘in’ until their money is ‘in’, sorry.
BBQ to be held in the usual place on the Saturday evening.
Please respect other anglers on the lake and keep drinking to a minimum
A draw for swims will take place at 06.00am on the Friday and names drawn will have swim choice. Anyone wishing to fish the venue beforehand then carry on the event will need to move swims if required.
All fish (carp) to be weighed photographed and logged.
PM me with your name and partners name if you wish to join in the fun and l will make up a provisional list and update the list as definate when monies are paid
As and when people are confirmed, they and there fishing partner will be entered also onto the 'keepnet' which will be used in the build up to event and also during the event to keep any catches updated. you will recieve your log in id etc once you have entered.
